Canadian born Keishia Chante first appeared in early 2003 with her debut “Shook (The Answer)” and has since released for more singles and a self titled album which went gold.It’s now been rumoured Chante has been chosen to play the late singer Aaliyah, in an up and coming biopic - check the resemblance in the picture above. According to reports the currently untitled biopic will capture Aaliyah’s rise to fame and her untimely death. Aaliyah died a plane crash in the Bahamas in 2001, she was 22 years old. During her career Aaliyah sold 32 million albums worldwide and was nominated for five Grammy’s. She was also romantically linked to Damon Dash and R.Kelly. Other details surrounding the biopic were not revealed but it’s slated to open in cinemas this year.
