Jaime WinstonAt the shows, animal prints filled the catwalk walks. It was only two years ago it came back and now its here again, however this time it’s a little different with a new rule… its out with ‘natural’ prints and in with bright and bolds.
It was evident during the SS/09 shows various designers decided on using the print in their collection. The label which stood out for me was Lanvin, where it was used on a sexy asymmetric dress, now animal print is everywhere to be seen. You could probably buy a entire outfit (shoes, accessories and underwear included), but take note; in no way am I suggesting you actually do this.
High street favs who I’m loving endorsing the print within their collections include Arrogant Cat on their snakeskin mini dress (£259), River Island on their understated sexy chic playsuit (£39.99) – I’ve just got to have this and Accessorize within their jewellery.
Whichever way you choose to wear it, make it bright and bold!
